France Ski Holidays

Skiing in the French Alps...

France ski holidays

When it comes to skiers and snowboarders heading to the slopes from the UK, France ski holidays lead the way, with a huge variety of ski resorts to choose from. There are endless possibilities when it comes to ski holidays in France with a resort for every taste, every ability and budget. You can go just for the weekend, you can jump aboard the Snow Train as opposed to flying and you can even ski two countries in one day if you like to get some miles under your belt.

Many of the French ski resorts are famous in their own right with Courchevel 1850 being a playground for the rich and famous to Val d'Isere being the original Alpine resort. Perhaps more well-known are the vast ski areas to choose from; the huge Three Valleys, which is arguably the biggest ski area in the world, to the aptly named Paradiski with its resorts sprinkled at different levels throughout the mountain. Portes du Soleil spans across Mont Blanc in France to Lake Geneva in Switzerland, which your area ski pass will cover. And newly named this year is the Val d'Isere – Tignes ski area which was previously the Espace Killy.
