The charming Deer Lodge is just 500m away from the world-famous Lake Louise, in the heart of the Banff National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Lake Louise Ski Area is 6km away and there is a complimentary shuttle that runs from the hotel on a regular basis throughout the day.
Deer Lodge is a historic lodge with lots of charm and retains a lot of its original log structure and interior décor. It was built in 1923 and opened as a hotel in 1925. Hotel facilities include a large, comfortable lounge with open fire and an excellent restaurant with an impressive wine list.
Leisure facilities include a sauna and a panoramic hot tub on the roof with views of the Victoria Glacier and the surrounding mountains. Perfect during the day but also for star gazing on those wonderfully clear nights.
